Caudalie Beauty Elixir

 Verovatno svi već znaju kako se ovaj proizvod hvali na sva zvona. Ja sam svoj kupila na ovogodišnjem sajmu kozmetike. Do tad nisam gledala koliko košta, pa pravu cenu tada nisam znala. Platila sam ga 1500 dinara. Kupila sam manju bočicu od 30ml. Posle sam otišla do apoteke da pogledam regularnu cenu i videla da piše 1371 dinar. Tako da ne da nisam uštedela nego sam i platila više...
Od njega očekivala sam svašta, a sada kad sam ga probala nekako nije ispunio sva moja očekivanja. Doduše kada razmislim od ovog proizvoda ne bi trebalo previše da se očekuje. Ovo je ipak kao i bilo koja termalna voda samo ima i dodatak nekih ulja.

Pakovanje je prelepo, stakleno sa pumpicom. Šteta je to što da biste raspršili ovaj eliksir preko celig lica treba vam nekoliko pritisaka na pumpicu, tako da se prilično brzo troši. Namenjen je svim tipovima kože i na bazi je grejpfruta, ruzmarina, ruže i cveta pomorandže. Miris je meni lično lep ali je takav da se mnogima verovatno neće svideti. Takođe je i prilično jak, no kada se eliksir upije, što je prilično brzo, miris nestaje. Ne sadrži paraben i fenoksietanol.


Everyone probably already knows how praised this product is. I bought it at the cosmetics fair. Until then I hadn't seen its cost so I didn't know it at the time I bought it. I paid 1500 dinars for it. I bought a small bottle of 30ml. After that I went to the pharmacy to see regular price and I saw that it is 1371 dinars. So not only that I haven't saved any money, I even paid more for it...
I expected a lot from it, but now that I tried it, it didn't meet my expectations. However when I think about it now you shouldn't expect too much from it anyway. This is still just like any thermal water with addition of some oils.

Packaging is beautiful, made of glass with a sprayer. It is a pity that you need to press the pump a few times to cover your whole face, since the bottle won't last long. It is designed for all skin types, and based on the grapefruit, rosemary, rose and orange blossom. The scent is nice to me personally, but many people probably won't like it. It is also quite strong, but when elixir is absorbed, which is pretty fast, the smell disappears. It doesn't contain parabens and phenoxyethanol.

Ja sam ga uvek nanosila nakon umivanja. Kako se ja umivam Sephora četkom koja radi blagi piling ovaj eliksir mi u takvim situacijama izaziva blago peckanje. Osećaj na koži je kao da je hladi pa da to pecka. No probala sam da ga nanesem u toku dana kada mi lice nije sveže "izčetkano" i tada me ne pecka. Brzo se upija i koža izgleda nekako lepše. Pod prstima koža je zaglađena, mada iako kažu da ovaj eliksir sužava pore, osim pod prstima pore ne izgledaju ni malo sužene.

Moram da napomenem ovde da su mi bubuljice koje mi izlaze zbog hormona u toku ciklusa po čelu izašle mnogo gore nego inače od kada ga koristim. Da budem iskrena sumnjam da je ovaj proizvod zaista kriv za ovo, jer sigurno ne sužava pore dovoljno da bude realni krivac. Možda mi je bio samo takav mesec. No moje je da napomenem. Kada su mi prošle bubuljice od ciklusa, eliksir nije izazivao nikakve nove probleme.

Sve u svemu vidim da ovaj eliksir lepo hidrira moju kožu i da joj koristi, no što se izgleda kože tiče razlika nije drastična. Na kraju krajeva ovo je ipak samo voda obogaćena koječim. :) Eliksir mi se svideo, no sumnjam da ću ga nešto mnogo kupovati, jer nije jeftin a nije ni čudotvoran, barem kod mene.

Šta mi se svidelo:
- pakovanje,
- nakon nanošenja koža izleda svežije,
- na dodir koža je zaglađena i elastična.

Šta mi se nije svidelo:
- cena,
- brzo se troši,
- pore ne izgledaju sužene,
- miris je prilično jak i mnogima se neće svideti,
- ako ga nanosim posle umivanja Sephora četkom pecka me.

I've always applied it after washing my face. I wash my face with Sephora brush which performes gentle exfoliation and in this situation this elixir causes a tingling sensation. The feeling on the skin is cooling and tingling. I tried to apply it during the day when my face is not freshly "brushed" and there was no tingling sensation. It is quickly absorbed and the skin looks nicer. Under my fingers the skin was smooth, but even though they say this elixir tightens pores, except under my fingers they didn't look any smaller.

I have to mention here that my pimple outburst because of hormones during the cycle were much worse than usual on my forehead since I started using this elixir. To be honest I doubt that this product is the one to blame, because it certainly doesn't tighten pores sufficiently to be the one to blame for this. Maybe it was just a bad month. But I still have to mention this. When my pimples from that cycle disappeared, the elixir didn't cause any new problems.

All in all, I noticed that this beautiful elixir moisturizes my skin and that it is good for me, but I didn't see any drastic difference in my skin. At the end this is still just a water enriched with all kinds of stuff. :) I liked it, but I doubt that I will buy it often, because it isn't cheap and it isn't miraculous, at least for me.

What I liked:

- After applying it the skin looks refreshed,
- The skin is smooth and elastic under the fingers.

What I didn't like:
- Price,
- Is quickly spent,
- Pores don't seem narrower,
- The smell is pretty strong, and many won't like it,
- If you apply it after washing your face with Sephora brush it causes little burning and tingling sensation.

China Glaze Texure lak za nokte

Pre neki dan sam lakirala nokte ovim divnim lakom, ali nije bilo mnogo sunca. Ipak sam resila da ga islikam i pokažem vam. Nije lose ispalo. Dakle, reč je o China Glaze Texure laku za nokte u nijansi Itty, Bitty & Gritty. Ovo je lak koji kada se namaže izleda kao da je ispod sitan pesak. Meni su ovakvi lakovi jako simpatični i baš mi se sviđaju. Bočica je klasična od 14ml. Ovaj lak mi je super pošto je jedan deblji sloj sasvim dovoljan. Takođe lak je postojan i traje dugo na noktima. Odlična stvar je što i kada se malo skine pri vrhu nokta vrlo lako možete da taj deo prelakirate ponovo i kada se lak osuši uopšte se popravke neće videti, za razliku od običnih lakova. Malo se teže skida, ali ni približno kao lakovi sa šljokicama. :)



The other day I painted my nails with a beautiful nail polish, but there was not much sun in order to take nice pictures of it. However, I decided to shoot anyway and show you. It didn't turn out that bad. So, it is a China Glaze nail polish from the Texture line and the color is called Itty, Bitty & Gritty. When applied it looks like there is fine sand below it. These nail polishes look very nice and I really like them. The bottle is a classic one with 14ml of nail polish. This nail polish is great, since one thicker layer of it is sufficient. Also it is very durable and stays a log time on the nails. The great thing is that when a bit comes off you can easily apply some on the problematic location and when it dries the repairs won't be visible at all, unlike with ordinary nail polishes. A little harder to remove, but not nearly as hard as glitter nail polishes. :)

Šta mi se sviđa:
- dovoljan je jedan sloj,
- dugo traje na noktima,
- popravke se ne vide,
- brzo se suši.

Šta mi se ne sviđa:
- nije baš prejeftin,
- za sad znam da može da se kupi jedino u Aleksandar Cosmetics-u,

Essence Vintage District rumenilo

Evo vratih se sa mini odmora u Crnoj Gori. :) Rešila sam da vam sad konačno pokažem ovo lepo rumenilo. Rumenilo je nežne koralne boje. Ima na sebi, kao što vidite, zlatni cvet.


I'm back from my mini vacation in Montenegro. :) I decided to finally show you this beautiful blush. Blush is a soft coral color. It has, as you can see, a gold flower.

No zlatni cvet je zlatan samo pri površini, a ispod je rozikasto rumenilo. Već nakon prvog prelaska preko zlatnog dela on će se skoro skinuti. Ostatak rumenila je veoma fin i ne kruni se. Potpuno je mat. Iako sam u početku bila tužna kada sam videla da je zlatni deo samo površinski, to me je već prošlo. Rumenilo je i sa i bez zlatnog dela veoma dobro. Lepo se blenda i veoma je neprimetno i prirodno. Zlatni deo je jedini malo drugačiji. Veoma je pigmentovan i malo se teže blenda. Ako se nanosi na obraze dovoljno je samo ovlaš dodirnuti rumenilo i pokupiti samo nekoliko zrna. U suprotnom ćete naneti previše. Na meni ovo rumenilo izgleda malo kao da sam prljava, ako preteram sa zlatnim. No mislim da to zavisi od vašeg tena. Sada kada sam veći deo zlatnog potrošila ne moram više tako pažljivo da ga nanosim.


The gold flower is golden only on the surface and below is the pinkish blush. After the first sweep I  almost used the whole gold part. The rest of the blush is very fine and doesn't crumble. It is completely matte. Although at first I was sad when I saw that it was golden only on the surface, I'm already over it. Blush is great with or without gold part. It blends well and looks very natural. Gold part is slightly different. It is very pigmented and a little harder to blend. If applied on the cheeks it is enough to lightly touch the blusher and pick up just a few grains. Otherwise you will apply too much of it. On me, this blush looks a little like I'm dirty, if I apply to much of the gold part. But I think it depends on your complexion. Now that I've spent most of the gold part I do not have to be so careful when applying it.

Zlatni deo, moram priznati, odlično izgleda na očima, pa mi je zato malo žao što ću ga uskoro potrošiti. Evo ih i swatch-evi. Odozdo: zlatni deo, koralno, mešano.


The gold part, I have to admit, looks great on the eyes, and that's why I'm a little sorry that I will run out of it very soon. Here are the swatches-s. From the bottom: gold, coral, mixed.

Rumenilo sadrži 9g i košta 469 dinara. Može da se kupi u Lilly i DM-u. Rumenilo je veoma lepo, diskretno, ima ga dosta i lepo se nanosi i blenda, ne kruni se i cena mu je fenomenalna. Moje preporuke. :)

Šta mi se sviđa:
- cena,
- pakovanje,
- ne kruni se,
- lepo se blenda,
- lepe boje,
- dugo izdrži na obrazima,
- izgleda veoma prirodno.

Ne sviđa mi se:
- zlatni deo je samo površinski.
- zlatni deo se malo teže blenda i mora jako pažljivo da se nanosi jer je izrazito pigmentovan.

Blush contains 9g and costs 469 dinars. It can be purchased at Lilly and DM. Blush is very nice, discreet, there's plenty of it and is good to apply and blend, doesn't crumble, and its price is phenomenal. My recommendation. :)

- Blends nicely,
- Beautiful colors,
- Lasts long on the cheeks,
- Looks very natural.

I do not like:
- The gold part is on the surface only,
-The golden part is a little harder to blend and you have to be very careful when applying it as it is highly pigmented.

Evo i mene još jednom iz Crne Gore. Kupila sam nekoliko stvari zbog kojih sam jako srećna. Prvo jer u Srbiji nemam gde da ih kupim, drugo jer sam prošla jako jeftino za neke od stvari koje sam kupila. Slika nije neka, aparat nisam ni ponela već sam slikala telefonom, ali evo šta sam kupila:


Here I am once again from Montenegro. I bought a few things that made me very happy. First, because in Serbia there's no where to buy them and second because I paid very little  for some of the things I bought. Image isn't great, I didn't even bring my camera with me, so I took this picture with my phone, and here's what I got:

- Essence My Skin Tinted Moisturizer - Peach & Acai Berry (oko 200 dinara)

- Kozmetika Afrodita Oil Control T-Zone Mattifying Serum (oko 1000 dinara)

- Essence Mattifying Compact Powder - Translucent (oko 200 dinara)

Odmah sam se zalepila za Afroditin matirajući serum za moju masnu T zonu. Nisam ga viđala kod nas mada ako bude dobar moraću da detaljnije pogledam ima li ga i u Srbiji. Essence je iz nekog razloga prejeftin. Ovaj bezbojni matirajući puder kod nas nikako da dođe u kompaktnoj verziji, tako da sam presrećna što sam ga našla. Essence obojenu kremu sam videla na Šminkerici i baš sam je od tad želela tako da sam i zbog nje jako srećna, jer je u Srbiji nema. A i cena je smešno mala. Uskoro ćete čuti i detaljnije utiske.

I immediately liked Afroditas mattifying serum for my oily T zone. I haven't seen it here but if it ends up being good I will have to look for it in Serbia, too. Essence was so cheap for some reason. This mattifying powder cannot be bought in compact version in Serbia (still), so I'm very happy I found it here. Essence tinted moisturizer I saw on Šminkerica, and since then I wanted to have it, so I was very happy when I saw it, because you cannot buy it in Serbia. And the price is ridiculously low. You will soon hear detailed impressions about everything.

Body Drench Body Scrub - Raspberry Gelee

Ne nisam krenla da pišem postove o kuvanju. Ovo nije džem, ovo je Body Drench piling za telo od malina! Kupila sam ga na sajmu kozmetike, a on se nalazi u stalnom asortimanu Alexandar Cosmetcs-a. Dolazi u pakovanju od 170g i košta 550 dinara. Miriše na maline, naravno, i izgleda potpuno kao džem. Deo je linije Fruity Treats.

No, I didn't start writing posts about cooking. This is not jam, but Body Drench Body Scrub -  Raspberry Gelee! I bought it at the cosmetics fair, and it can be bought anytime in Alexandar Cosmetics. It comes in packaging of 170g, and costs 550 dinars. It smells like raspberries, of course, and looks exactly like jam. It's part of the Fruity Treats line.

Moji utisci o ovom proizvodu su zaista pozitivni. Lepo miriše i lepo radi piling. Zrnca koja vrše piling su malo krupnija i nema ih previše. To je moja eventualna zamerka ovom proizvodu, pošto ja lično više volim pilinge sa velikim brojem manjih čestica (da me podsecaju na sitni pesak). Imam osećaj kako takvi proizvodi rade bolji piling. Za ljude sa osetljivom kožom koji ne žele veoma jak piling ovaj piling od malina bi trebao da bude odličan.

Šta mi se sviđa:
- pakovanje,
- miris,
- izgled.

Šta mi se nesviđa:
- nije lako dostupan, kupuje se samo u Aleksandar Cosmetics-u,
- cena nije baš velika, ali nije ni skroz jeftin,
- čestice koje rade piling su krupnije, a ja više volim sitne.

My impressions of this product are really positive. It smells nice and it is a good body scrub. Grains that perform peeling are a little bigger and there's not too much of them. That's what I don't like about this product, because I personally prefer scrubs with a large number of smaller grains (reminding me of fine sand). I have a feeling that these products work better. For people with sensitive skin who don't want a strong exfoliating scrub this raspberry scrub should be excellent.

What I like:
- Packaging,
- Smell,
- Look.

What I don't like:
- Is not easily available, sold only in Alexander Cosmetics,
- The price is not that bad, but it is not totally cheap either,
- Grains are a bit larger, and I prefer small grains.
